Project A 1,000-Kids’ Space

The second semester; from five ideas become one: within this semester, students need to practice one of the most difficult but the most significant part of the profession that is to work as a team; learning to listen to others’ opinions and let go his/her ego for the benefit of the group work – within this process, five design schemes are needed to combine into one scheme and, then, developed the construction drawing.

Within this process, students learn to develop a new design scheme while maintaining the concept of the former five design schemes. For the first year student whose design skill and experience is not much, nor is his/her construction drawing skill; the new design scheme with the complete set of construction drawing (with a hundred – section cut through the work) is executed within a one – and – a – half month period.

The only reason that helps students to overcome any obstructions is their aspiration to do this work for the kids in the remote area of the northern part of the country. Through their designs, those kids will have a chance to develop physically, mentally and socially which might help them an opportunity for the better future.
